Drake Wore a Broncos Jersey to the Toronto Raptors Game and Had the Team to Sign It After

The tragedy that took the lives of 16 members of the Humboldt Broncos Junior A hockey organization has been touching Canadians all over. Millions of dollars have been sent to a record-breaking GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for those affected.

The hockey world has been united through this devastating accident with teams and professional players donating thousands of dollars. However, some other Canadian celebrities have been coming together in support of the Broncos.

Canadian music sensation Drake was seen wearing his own Humboldt Broncos jersey during the Saturday’s Toronto Raptors opening game of the NBA Playoffs in his usual courtside seat. Besides showing his support through wearing the jersey, Drake went further by bringing the shirt into the Raptors dressing room.

“Unfortunately, a lot of families suffered from this bus crash,” says Drake, as he addresses the team. Then, he places the jersey in the centre of the room for the entire team to sign.

The Toronto Raptors have released this video which shows the team coming together in support of the Broncos.
