Toronto Has Been Named the Most Multicultural City in the World

A media start-up company called The Culture Trip is dedicated to featuring some of the worlds unique and creative cultures.  Recently, they came out with a list that describes the ten most diverse cities from all corners of the globe.  The only Canadian city that was featured, Toronto managed to knock out some of Earth’s most significant hubs like London, Sydney, and New York.

The article praises the city for its many ethnic neighbourhoods which include Chinatown, Greektown, Little Italy, Little India, and even a Little Poland.  But, that is just the start of the cultures that thrive inside of Toronto.  There is a mix of British, Irish, Romanian, and just about any other ethnicity, you can name.

This may not the first time that Toronto has been referred to as the most multicultural city in the world but, Torontonians are happy that it is now official.
