Sorry to let everybody know, but you just missed the party of the year.  A 14-year-old girl is in the most epic trouble with her parents after $20,000 of damages occurred when she hosted a party in West Vancouver.

Police received multiple calls on the evening of March 9, with neighbours all reporting a party that was getting out of hand.  By the time police arrived at 8:30 pm they had witnessed approximately 200 teenagers fleeing a home on the 2400 block of Ottawa Avenue in West Van.

The police were able to identify the host, a 14-year-old girl who had used her parent’s credit card to rent the home without their approval.

The party had grown beyond its intended size quickly and the police report that extensive damage had been done before they arrived.  An estimated $20,000 of damages include broken walls, furniture and artwork.  Fortunately, there were no injuries to party attendees.

The teenagers family has agreed to the financial responsibility, and the homeowners do not plan on seeking any criminal
