This sloth may be the winner of the most adorable animal on the planet, and pretty soon you could have a chance to meet the little critter.
With no zoo of their own in Ottawa, it is up to local companies to build connections between animals and humans. Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo has joined forces with Animal Ambassadors to launch a massive exhibit in the countries capital. The Diversity of Living Things event offers 12,000 square feet of exhibits featuring all kinds of animals. This year’s show will include 30 live animals including a sloth, owl, vulture, bunnies, ferrets, tortoises, skunk, tarantulas, and snakes.
The exhibit will have highly interactive programs, as well as staff members walking about to give guests an opportunity to meet all kinds of animals. The hands-on educational exhibit is family friendly and offers special times for special needs families.
Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo is Canada’s largest exotic animal rescue program offering sanctuary for hundreds of unwanted or seized pets. All animals that are eligible for release in the wild are released 100% of the time.
The Diversity of Living Things exhibit will be held at Nepean Sportsplex on April 7th and 8th. The program is open 10 am to 5 pm with live presentations happening the whole day through. For more information, you can visit the Meet a Sloth Facebook
